These studies are all looking at the effectiveness of guided self-help administered integrative interventions in the prevention and management of illnesses and the enhancement of wellness.

Study 1:

Facts about Environmental Illness

Environmental illness, including debilitating conditions ranging from Autism, anxiety and sleep disorders to hypersensitivities, heart disease and cancer, is a global epidemic. Ninety percent of the United States’ population displays symptoms consistent with early stage environmental disease.  Most people do not realize they have an environmental disease nor do they understand the dire health consequences.  The costs of environmental illness to personal quality of life, economic viability and political stability are inestimable and growing.

A fundamental pathology in environmental illness is cell membrane oxidative stress, impacting both genetic and epigenetic physiology.  The good news is that this knowledge of mechanism renders environmental illness both preventable and controllable when proper interventions are applied at the earliest stages of the illness progression.

The challenge is that conventional medical interventions aimed at symptom control, exacerbate the underlying pathology by increasing oxidative stress.  Many interventions that work best are considered ‘alternative’, and most health insurance, Medicare and Medicaid plans deny coverage.  The absence of insurance coverage prevents access to help by the majority of those suffering until the conditions reach serious clinical stages.  And, the epidemic continues.

Environmental Illness Study

You can help yourself while helping us work toward solving this insidious and growing public health problem by participating in our comprehensive environmental illness study.  This ongoing work, to continue through the end of the year 2012, is aimed at both documenting the efficacy of comprehensive intervention protocols for preventing and managing environmental illness, and achieving insurance coverage for those who choose those protocols.  There are no placebos in the study, so all of those invited to participate receive helpful interventions that mitigate these diseases.

Study 2:

Facts about Mental Illness and Mental Wellness

Environmentally induced mental illness, including debilitating conditions including depression, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Mood Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, Eating Disorders and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, has become a global epidemic. Most people do not realize they have a mental disorder nor do they understand the dire health consequences.  The costs of mental illness to personal quality of life, economic viability and family stability are inestimable and growing.

A newly discovered fundamental physical mechanism of environmentally induced mental illness, and its positive counterpart mental wellness, is cell membrane oxidative stress.  The good news is that this knowledge of underlying mechanism renders mental illness both preventable and controllable when proper interventions are applied at the earliest stages of the illness progression.

Mental Wellness Study

You can help yourself while helping us work toward solving this insidious and growing public health problem by participating in our comprehensive mental wellness study.  This ongoing work, to continue through the end of the year 2012, is aimed at both documenting the efficacy of comprehensive intervention protocols for preventing and managing mental illness and enhancing mental wellness, as well as achieving insurance coverage for those who choose those protocols.  There are no placebos in the study, so all of those invited to participate receive helpful interventions that mitigate these diseases.
